Phoenix Entrepreneurs Fuel Growing Need for Co-Working Space

When operating a franchise, finding devoted entrepreneurs who want to open their own state-of-the-art office space is crucial. You need individuals who hold the same values and mission as the brand. You want to be a guiding light for their success as well as be a mentor during times of uncertainty. At Office Evolution®, the largest provider of locally owned and operated flexible workspaces across the U.S., we have created a company culture that does just that. I am excited to share how two Phoenix franchisees have seen immediate success in building their business in a thriving entrepreneurial community.

Phoenix is an area that our company has been targeting for quite some time, with a market that has seen an exponentially growing workforce. Our team has strategically located our workspaces in Surprise, Peoria and south Phoenix to provide local professionals an environment where they can get work done and support the thriving small business community. Our company’s goal is to continue to meet these demands by providing conference rooms, co-working spaces and private offices for our members.

The owner of both our Peoria and Surprise locations, Shelly Bade, was looking for a way to get involved in her community and to help others succeed. Coming from a construction background, Bade has always dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur and pursuing a career that makes her happy, connecting and collaborating with others. Bade’s locations, which opened in 2018, have come to represent more than just 56 office spaces and 16,000 square feet; it is a community for local business professionals, and Bade is invested in helping them succeed. Being able to gather in a space closer to home rather than needing their own building has been instrumental in helping many local businesses maintain their culture despite uncertain times.

Former Office Evolution member and now the owner of the south Phoenix location, Kyle Timmons was previously an actuary in need of a flexible workspace close to home. Timmons came across the company and fell in love with the brand’s culture, high-quality office space and community involvement. When presented with an opportunity to own a location, Timmons jumped at the chance and opened his beautiful office space in Ahwatukee four years ago. With a little over 6,500 square feet of office space, Timmons is confident and humbled how his extravagant workspace has become a home for many of the area’s predominant entrepreneurs.

Office Evolution® (OE), a shared workspace and co-working environment, was founded in 2003 and cultivated on the principles of ’Ohana’, the Hawaiian tradition that references family working toward a common goal. Office Evolution is part of Coworks™ the largest privately held affiliated co-working franchise network on the planet, associated with United Franchise Group™ (UFG), a successful community of affiliated brands and consultants. Under the company’s new leadership of brand president Jason Anderson, Office Evolution will continue to help create a world-class working environment where entrepreneurs can thrive. Office Evolution is serious about supporting small business owners — the dreamers, risk-takers and doers who dare to chase their passions.
