Ranking every Phoenix Suns player in dominant win over LA Clippers

The Phoenix Suns produced their most complete performance on Sunday night, downing an underwhelming Los Angeles Clippers outfit at Crypto.com Arena.

Phoenix were dominant from the tip, opening up a 15-point lead after 12 minutes. As much as the Clippers threatened at times in the following three periods, the lead never again fell into single digits.

For the first time this season, the Phoenix Suns had an even spread of contributors in their 112-95 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Not one Suns player recorded a negative plus-minus, demonstrating the balanced nature of the victory. Phoenix turned up the screws defensively and on the second night of a back-to-back, the Clippers were unable to muster adequate offensive shotmaking.

Here is every Suns player ranked from the win, excluding Josh Okogie and Duane Washington Jr. who entered the game in garbage time in the last two minutes.

10. Landry Shamet

A solid start in his first 13 minutes of the season — the sharpshooter finished with eight points on 2-for-5 shooting from deep which, if that 40% maintains, would be a great result. Didn’t do a whole lot else but battled defensively among a fantastic collective effort as a team.

9. Damion Lee

One of those games where it looks very average from the box score, but the impact was much more pronounced. Lee only took three shots, finishing with two points, one rebound and one assist. He drew a number of offensive fouls though, often coming at important times when the Clippers were looking to make a run.

8. Cameron Payne

Ten points, two assists and a rebound, although he shot just 4-for-11 from the field. He timed those buckets well though, making some important ones in the second half as the Clippers pushed towards a comeback. Still plenty more to prove.
